Neft
& Neft Realtors was founded in 1966 by Harry and
Trudi Neft, who semi-retired from the real estate business in
San Francisco and moved to Lake County. Their son David took
over in 1978 and it’s remained a family-owned business
ever since. Neft & Neft is now the oldest, family-owned
real estate agency in the county.
Through the years the agency has grown and changed with the
real estate needs of a wide array of buyers and sellers. Perhaps
this is why we can proudly say we have the most referrals of
any realty firm in our market, Lake County. Our people are experienced.
Our staff includes a broker-owner, an associate broker, four
sales agents and clerical assistance. We listen. We work with
our clients to pre-qualify each buyer. We know whom to see and
where to go for services our clients require - everything from
calling for inspections and tests to whatever is needed to show
a home at its best, and home warranties to protect your new
investment.
Why Lake County?
First time home buyers or those moving up, buyers seeking a
retirement or second home, those starting up or relocating a
business - all are discovering the commutable, scenic road that
is Highway 29 into South Lake County. The air is better here.
There is room to grow. There are recreational opportunities
everywhere you turn. Drive the quality highways and byways to
witness the full beauty of our four seasons. There could be
no friendlier business community. And the schools are among
the best in the North Bay. A growing number of services, and
the finest medical attention, is readily available.
Consider the diversity of housing.
Middletown is home to professional people and ranchers. Often
the two blend together in charming rancheros. Above the flats,
some eight miles to the west, Highway 175 takes you to year-round
vacation living among the pines of Cobb Mountain. The small
communities of Whispering Pines, Anderson Springs and Cobb are
breathtaking for mountain scenery, but are much nearer and more
affordable than Lake Tahoe. The region’s water is of such
high quality that it’s bottled and sold in upscale markets
within a six-county radius. Travel four miles north of Middletown
along Highway 29 and you’ll find Hidden Valley, a gated
community of nearly-new family homes in a golf and country club
setting. Every locale offers real value in housing. You’ll
also find nearby businesses, schools, services - all with a
warm country feeling. The right time for a move to South Lake
County is now. It’s still very much a buyer's market.
Given time and Neft & Neft Realtors, you’ll find a
better environment and an affordable home for your family here.
